IW Companion of the Month - November 2025

 In the fast-growing Evangelical Mennonite Church Vietnam, leadership development is a high priority, as is establishing a common vision and an Anabaptist identity. Training for lay leaders and bi-vocational pastors takes place in  various ways through small gatherings and online courses. Mennonite Church Canada Liaison Workers, Nhien Pham and Garry Janzen, connect EMCV with Anabaptist resources available in Vietnamese. Nhien also teaches regularly online from Canada. This month they are attending the gathering of the Asia Anabaptist Mennonite Education Network together with leaders from EMCV to share what they have learned and to learn from others.  

 We have one month left to reach our Global Companionship goals for this year.

Why Global Companionship?  

The goal of mission is not primarily aid (humanitarian assistance); it’s not even partnership. We engage in mission to establish friendships that lead to the formation of a new people in the world... If we are in Christ, we have become part of a new creation.
