Where should I fly?
There are airports in Waterloo, Hamilton, and Toronto. Please arrange flights to a destination city that provides the best travel experience for the best price.
Is there someone who can pick my group up from the airport?
Please email Audrey (youth@mennonitechurch.ca) to talk about whether we can organize an airport pick up for your group.
When do I need to be there?
On site registration is between 3:00-4:30pm (with supper following) on Wednesday, July 2, and the conference ends at noon on Saturday, July 5.
Can I bring my group a day early, or stay later? Is there anything to do in Ontario?
We encourage you to consider a larger experience for your group. There is so much to do in Ontario!! See orange box below to get started. Email Audrey (youth@mennonitechurch.ca) if you want to think through what to do and how to make it happen.
Are there any trips as part of the Youth Gathering?
We have a wonderful learning tour of Kitchener on Friday afternoon, we will be traveling to Rockway to join the Adult Gathering Friday evening, and we will be mainly focused on the University of Waterloo campus and the surrounding park spaces for the majority of the conference. If you want to plan an additional trip, see question above.
My parents are coming from out of province and are registered for the Gathering. Can I stay with them instead of on campus?
Yes. Choose the day pass option on the registration form. Note that breakfast and accommodation is not included for this option.
I have mobility issues - will I still be able to participate?
Our goal is to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible. The physical spaces we are in are all accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
This feels expensive! Why does it cost so much?
We have tried our best to reduce costs in every area possible, while still giving everyone a wonderful experience. This kind of conference only happens once every 3 years! We hope churches will support their young people and help them attend.
By when do I need to register?
Registration opens March 5, 2025. Early bird deadline is extended to June 5. Late registrations will be accepted until June 18, 2025.
Where do I find more information?
