The Calgary Mennonite Fellowship was founded in 1978 in Calgary, Alberta. They had begun worshipping together in 1976, an outreach of other Mennonite congregations in Calgary. By 1979 there were 30 members. In 1990 it changed its name to Pineridge Christian Fellowship. In 1991 the membership was 55. In 1994 it was 118 and in 2000 it was 100. In 2000 the congregation withdrew from the Conference of Mennonites in Alberta but retained membership in the Northwest Conference. The leaders of the congregation were: Albert George (1977-1978), Bob Friesen (1979-1981), Alfred Polzin (1982-1993), Kenneth Karlenzig (1994- ).
This fonds contains bulletins (1987-1989), annual reports (1987), Northwest Conference newsletters (1987-1989), and Conference of Mennonites in Alberta newsletter (1989). The records pertain to the founding and development of the Mennonite congregation Calgary, Alberta. They document some of the leaders and participants in the congregation.
