The Pleasant Point congregation began began services in 1924 and formally organized in 1925. The meeting house is about 15 km south of Clavet, Saskatchewan and equally north of Dundurn, Saskatchewan. The last bishop Gerhard Warkentin retired in 1972, and the subsequently the Nordheimer church group dissolved by 1975, after which Pleasant Point Mennonite Church emerged as an independent congregation (1976). The membership was 71 in 1976 and 95 in 1995. The leaders of the congregation were: Gerhard Zacharias (1930-1974), Heinrich Schröder (1944-1983), Rudy Daniels (1984-2000), Harry Harder (2001- ).
The fonds contains annual reports (1973-1977), histories (1976, 1995), year-end reports (1977-1991), congregational journal (1978-2001), membership list (1978), Gemeinde meeting minutes (1978), Gemeinde council meeting minutes (1978), congregational meeting minutes (1979-2000), church council meeting minutes (1979), programmes (1977-1979), financial statement (1979), year-end reviews (1980-1991), constitution (1985), and bulletins (1992-2018).
