CMBC Publications was officially organized in 1973, with assistance from D.W. Friesen & Sons. Earlier publication ventures by the College consisted of books/booklets which the College generated for its own purposes. Publications for individuals who had no direct involvements with the College had not been undertaken prior to the formation of CMBC Publications. Rudy Regehr was the person most directly involved with publications.
The bulk of the CMBC Publications files can be divided into four categories:
a) manuscripts submitted for publication.
b) paste-up copies of books.
c) correspondence related to various publications.
d) photographs used in the book "Garden in the Wilderness" by Edgar Stoesz.
